“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the Heavenly realms, with every spiritual blessing in Christ.” Ephesians 1:3
Have you ever known with absolute certainty that God was responsible for something in your life because there just wasn’t any other answer available? I like to call these ‘God things’. I didn’t always recognize them as the hand of God. Sometimes it’s small things and sometimes it’s much bigger things. It may be something that I need or an answer to my prayers. I’ve learned to recognize that this is part of my personal relationship with my Heavenly Father. God is a very personal God and he loves us very much. If he cares enough to count the hairs on our head, just think how much he cares about the things that matter to us in our daily lives. He sprinkles blessings in our lives every day. Things that no one else would have a clue about but you, and you just know that there was no other answer except that it’s a ‘God thing.’
“Hath not my hand made all these things?” Acts 7:50
Sometimes we don’t recognize all of the ‘God things’ in our lives. Sometime His footsteps are invisible, and we don’t think about it as anything unusual. Take the time to look back and trace God’s hand in the events and circumstances that have happened in your life. Learn to recognize the little ‘God Things’ and give Him praise for his goodness and blessings.
“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” Psalms 139:14
The hand of God is a symbol of His love, guidance, instruction, and discipline for us. Through the study of God’s Word, a strong prayer life, and an abiding trust in God, we can learn to recognize, trust, and enjoy the hand of God moving in our lives. It is so amazing to realize that the ‘God things’ are all a part of God nurturing our daily relationship with Him. So in every blessing and gift from God, big or small, let’s give thanks and praise to Him.
“So that people may see and know, may consider and understand, that the hand of the Lord has done this, that the Holy One of Israel has created it.” Isaiah 41:20
